Why I Wrote This Book


Most people don't struggle because they lack knowledge.


They know they should exercise more, sleep better, spend less time scrolling, manage stress more effectively, and take better care of themselves.


Yet knowing what to do and consistently doing it are often very different things.


Humans & Modern Life explores a possibility many people never consider: the problem may not be a lack of motivation or willpower. It may be that human biology is being asked to operate in an environment very different from the one it evolved for.


This book examines the hidden collision between our ancient biology and the modern world, and how that collision influences behaviour, attention, habits, stress, recovery, and wellbeing.
